advice needed
hi all I have my interview this Thursday. any tips would be fantastic. I was on an F1 visa and married my college boyfriend of 3.5yrs who is an American citizen. would there be any concern I graduated with a degree last may we got married in June we filed late June early July I can’t quite remember and then my visa expired for no more than 2 weeks. this wasn’t all my fault we moved states for his school and I was enrolling at a new college. I had started the enrollment process however it was during summer break and both my previous school and new now current school we not responding due to offices closed for the break and wasn’t given the congrats you are enrolled confirmation until after my visa expired. I have also filed for my F1 to be reinstated. I have stayed in America constantly without going home for 2.5yrs. I would love to stay in high hopes but this is a point of concern for me. I’ve also applied for my I765 and I131.

if you were under your f1 status or valid I20… you are fine. you still have a grace period after you graduated so that’s still under an valid i20 so you should be fine
