I dont think she should drop him but like u said men don't change she almost at the finish line, just go through to end. sometimes he's just telling her he's doing to do it now and then he don't

@Bakhtiyor M that’s what am telling her she just scared now that she pregnant that usisc going to said something when she go to the interview. she so confused because the lawyer didn’t gave her information and she want to try to fix her relationship but she also think what happen if this don’t work and now am pregnant I told her don’t drop the case you only 2 month pregnant you don’t know what can happen. if you guys break up again you can explain the usisc what’s happen not sure if they would dined the case because she had the baby from him

@amor amor why did she apply for vawa in the first place? Was he not willing to file her paperwork? Did she tell him she filed for vawa? When she filed for vawa she had to provide all of his information to prove his standing. He can't file a marriage case for her now and it shows up as him being the same person. They will close the vawa case themselves, and then what happens when the abuse continues? If she wants to remain with her abuser that's on her, but she shouldn't pull the vawa application. Having a child by the man will not let uscis deny the vawa case. In fact, it might give her a stronger case for a green card. But personally, it doesn't make sense to try to salvage a relationship with a known abuser. It won't get better and her and her child will live in a toxic home.

@kerry S that’s what I told her that’s why I came here so I can show you guys comments to her, she already have a child with him because when she got married with him she had a child from another men and he adopted her child when the child was like 1 or 2 years old then on 2022 she apply for vawa because all the abuse and she show all the proof she even have couple of PF and her permission to work and travel she just waiting for the vawa aprovel. @yana yana so true but you know that why things always happen to me because am always with the good heart trying to help everyone but this would be the last thing I would do for her to be honest. by her reading the comments she would see that am not the only one telling her not to drop vawa and that even though she having a baby her case not going to be denied only because of that. then from there it would be her choice of what to do

You never go back to any man or woman that abused you for nothing in the world and ESPECIALLY pregnant. if she drops it she will refile at the future onother one and pay again from the start..

@Good vibes For ever true but sometime love blind you and they have been back and forward with this I don’t know why it make her think now that she pregnant of him, he going to change they got married in 2019 abused stared on 2021 they separated the end of 2021 and she put her vawa on January 2022 and from there they have been back and for it’s 2024 she pregnant of him like come one baby girl think for the first time 🤦‍♀️

@amor amor Being Pregnant for her husband (abuser) is not a bad thing. Even, the pregnancy indicates that their marriage is in GOOD FAITH. For the fact that she suffered abused, she is entitled to VAWA. She has been on the queue for long since Jan 2022. I envisage that she will get her VAWA before new I-130 approval, hence, she shld stay with her VAWA. The pregnancy is to her advantage and not otherwise. See, govt will not blame you if you continue your relationship with you abused spouse. I am still married with my abused Spouse . She begs me every day, but we are separated. Tell her that she should endure few more months, less than 5months, her VAWA will be approved

I agree with @AUG 22 I was thinking the same thing. Her vawa case will likely get approved before the I-130. In addition, if she remains on vawa, she doesn't need him to do anything for her anymore and after 3 years she can file for citizenship. If she does it with him, she will have to hope he shows up to the 2nd green card interview in 2 years and if he doesn't then she will need a lawyer and pay a lot of money to get that fixed. She should do the smart thing and do this independently of him. She is already working and can travel. She doesn't need him now and that's power! Not sure why she wants to hand it back to him.
