Advanced Parole- EB3
Hello everyone,
My AOS process has been smooth so far. My work permit and advanced parole were approved like 3 weeks after my 1-140 was approved. I have never used my advanced parole out of fear. I decided that I would use it in May of this year to go see my mum because I haven’t seen her in 6 years. I just told my lawyer about wanting to use it and they told me the documents to take and all but also told me that they don’t advice travel unless necessary because there is always a chance that you won’t be let back into the US. Now I’m so nervous and can’t stop thinking about it. I have never had any criminal or misconduct issues. Is going to see my mum that I haven’t seen in years a valid reason? i heard you can only use AP for humanitarian or work reasons but I really just want to see my mum and family. I don’t want to make a mistake that will cost me so much after all of this.
I would appreciate advise because I’m so nervous I can’t even sleep lol

@Liv I the anxiety doesn't go away, but I traveled also last year.
