yes ! you have to call info pass and take an appointement. I did it back in august … they denied it the first day and accepted it the second day ( my lawer came with me ) . basically my dad was sick and thanks god I was able to go see him before he passed. the first day they asked all the doctors note, the translated bloodwork etc… the whole process took 3 weeks to be able to have the emergency travel document.

@Asma Did they give you a combo card? or it was a sort of a differentstamp in the passport? how long did you stay out of the US on that? can they do for the whole family ?

yes for the whole family , no combo card , it’s just a paper … with picture and stamp

if I remember correctly , translated birth certificate , certificate of wedding ( to proof the relation between my husband and me ) , my son’s birth certificate ( he is born French ), a translated note from ny dad doctor specifying that he has a life threatening diseas , and translated blood work and pet scan ( I know it’s crazy , they denied the first day because I didn’t translate the two scan ) , pictures and I think that’s it. we applied for me, my husband and son . my daughter didn’t need it as she is born in the us

@Blue bird @Asma oues @Reich g congratulations. do u know something about Humanitarian advance parole document I-131 ? i have applied for advance parole i am outside of USA. my brother has submitted an application for me . he is LPR and he is an angineer in APPLE inc. i have submitted humanitarian reasons and threat evedince too. so how much i have to sure about the approval ? and WHEN ?? my case was recieved on november 3, 2021

@asma, there were others who were granted for a month or two. you were lucky that you got for a year. Did you request or provide any other info to be granted for a year?

nope ! I didn’t ask for it ! I heard too 1y is not granted

maybe it’s related to the diseas … my dad had stage 4 agressive cancer. his doctor wrote in the note that I needed to be able to come often to help with his treatment ( maybe that why I got a year ) anyway I got it in august and used it until November . when I came back in November ( it was still travel ban between France and USA ) the agent asked me why I traveled and I explained. I still went to the little room for extra check
