I’ve travelled couple of times this year and last yr. No issues. Secondary screening at the port of entry though which can take 15 mins to 2 hrs depending on how busy they are.

@sam k - During your any of your travel, were you in an expired i-94 situation

You mean I-94 on a previous non-immigrant status or AP I-94 ? AP I-94 is always 1 yrs but it has no real meaning in my understanding and you can stay beyond the expiry as long as your AOs is pending. I have not had that yet and neither on my previous non-immigrant visas.
