🎉ADVANCE PAROLE APPROVED! Will get to travel back to my home after 8 years!!
Hi all,
My Combo card was approved last month after waiting an extra year just because of a typo. Anyways I’m excited to travel back but at the same time a bit skeptical because of Trump.
My attorney had advised to not travel but i can if i want to. But gave me a few suggestions.
- No travel more than 3 months ( I was planning a lil more but will plan for 3 months)
- Land during their office hours Mon-Fri
- If they cause any trouble ask for attorney.
I have a good record and have been paying taxes every year since my arrival to US.
What do you guys think about travel for 3 months or more?

I have heard of people coming back without any problems & I have also heard of people facing problems. I would stay it’s 80-20. 80% facing no problems & 20% facing problems. It all comes down to how racist & MAGA the officer is, if he’s not a MAGA you wouldn’t face any problems as long as everything else is clear. I read a lot of experiences on social media/immigration websites & there was one I read - some months ago - about how the officer at USA Niagara Falls entry point gave a hard time to a student for no reason because he was brown. All his papers were clear & he was a genuine student & and had all the documents, yet he took him to secondary inspections, made him wait for 2 hours & then someone else came up to him & told him you’re free to go. You’re gonna have secondary inspections regardless since you’re on a Advance Parole, but if you do plan to travel, just ensure you have all the information & are aware of all the know-hows in case you get detained. As for your lawyer, every lawyer says the same thing since Trump came to power.

I’m planning to travel next month the only thing I forgot to ask my lawyer is should I land in NY where my lawyer stays or Dallas where I stay
