If you have SIJ with an approved I-360 and a pending I-485, advance parole is usually possible and a lot of people have traveled on it without major issues. They file I-131, get the AP document, and re-enter fine, sometimes with a few extra questions at the airport but admitted after review. The bigger problem is when someone only has SIJ deferred action and no I-485 on file, in that case AP is generally not available and can get denied. Before booking anything, double check that your adjustment is actually pending and that you don’t have any inadmissibility concerns, and carry all your notices and AP doc when you travel. - Attorney Ana Gabriela Urizar (All information shared here is for general educational purposes only.
