hi guys. I received my work permit with advance parole. I couldn’t see my family almost 2 years. I missed them I don’t know when m gonna get my Gc. that’s why I wanna go to my country and see my family. how many day I can be out of the U.S. and we will come back with my husband. is it safe for me to come back ? is there anyone have problem coming back from another country with AP ?

I wouldn’t recommend leaving the US till you get your green card. AP doesn’t guarantee your entree back into the US

I know plenty of people who have travelled on their AP just fine. Have you ever overstayed your visa? if so, I think it’s better to wait for GC.

You’re fine, you can go But maximum is 2 - 3 weeks. please do not stay for a month, you might end up being sent back and I pray that wouldn’t be your portion.

hey you can travel if you don’t have any criminal report.. overstay is okay.. I know one friend traveled after overstaying of 5years

You can travel, i just got back and I had no issue coming back. I over stayed for years and no questions was asked. Everything was smooth…. if u have a record I strongly recommend that u don’t.

can you let me know how did you leave country and how did you come back any problem anything I need to know etc ?
and I have ap with EAD card should I bring extra permission paper etc or that EAD combo card is enough for me to go abroad
