Adjustment of status Newark NJ FO
Hello friends, I just submitted my adjustment of status 1 month ago. Even though my I-130 took 25 months to be approved, I didn't submit adjustment of status because my husband was LPR at the time and he recently got his citizenship.
Question is how long does it take Newark NJ FO to schedule biometrics? Average how long is taking Combo card and get Interview?

It doesn’t matter now but you could’ve filed AOS when sending the I-130 If F2A was current, or waiting for the receipt of I-130 if it wasn’t and sending it with the whole package. Regarding the wait time, it’s taking between 10-12 month at the moment.

@PDNov22 FO Newark, no I couldn't adjust because I don't have lawful presence, F2A category with a unlawful presence works different, first you have to submit only I-130 and once is approved, is necessary to submit a waiver because the process is consular, if my husband didn't get citizenship I had to comeback to my country and do the paperwork through the embassy.

@Lisa Modhwadia that makes sense. Thank you for the info.
