adding spouse for pending i485
Hi , my pd is October 2020, received my EAD almost a year ago, waiting my PD to be current. We were going to apply my husband (he is in OPT) now after I get my green card through marriage. is there a way to add him now on my pending i485? how would effect my PD or process? Anyone had same situation and have an idea? i’d ask the lawyer too of course .

you can add him only when your PD will be current ( filing date )

You can apply for him now using form I-824. if you're using lawyers, talk to them about it. But you should go ahead and apply for your spouse now before your greencard is approved. Your spouse's application will be based off your own priority date which us October 2020 as you've clearly stated.
