Add Newborn Child as Derivative Beneficiary – Form I-130
I am a lawful permanent resident and I filed Form I-130 for my wife under the F2A category. The petition is still pending. After filing the I-130, my wife and I had a daughter who was born recently. Can my newborn daughter be added as a derivative beneficiary to my wife’s pending F2A petition? If yes, what documents and procedure should I follow, and is there any USCIS filing fee?
Can she be recognized/added as a derivative beneficiary of my wife’s existing F2A petition?”
