Please check the receipt you received after sending your case to the USCIS. I'm sure the address location indicates your service center. Cheers!

thank you @taapoli but when i saw case status its sayes in Vermont but in receipt it says California inam confused on that

@Prashish, be mindful that cases typically gets transferred from one service center to another. Chances are California started to process your case then it gets transferred to Vermont for further processing.

@kay law permanent residence filing for spouse outside of country. my wife is in nepal and its been 1 year i have filed that case

Oh, okay.. Once your relative is outside the US, then No! there's no need for you to file I-485. The I-485 is only for applicants who are already living in the US to adjust status. Your I-130 petition however, will be sent to the NVC. The NVC will forward your case to the U.S. consulate in Nepal when a visa becomes available and your wife will be notified about how to proceed. Also, be mindful you're a permanent resident so the processing time is longer, just have to wait. You'll get an update soon as it's ready.
