About PP, for the LAST time…(Not legal advice, just experience and thoughts)
In a previous post (READ), I clearly explained why I believe premium processing (PP) is essential these days, if you can afford it.
So please, take action! FAST!
• Get real, and stop dreaming basing a decision on future probabilities… the Time is NOW! and NOW is getting WORSE!
• This is not what you might want to hear, this is what happened to ME and a group of colleagues who applied with me.
Get your answers quickly!
Get adjudicated!
If you receive a Request for Evidence (RFE), address it!
If you face a denial, fix it!
And then, get in line—fast!
• Imagine we're in line at a coffee shop with at least a thousand people ahead of us waiting to order their “I-140,” and even more are joining! There’s only one or two employees making the coffee, and they're struggling to keep up (AOS)! But they’ll continue serving coffee because that’s the only way to keep the shop open.
> Please understand this: the situation isn’t what it used to be! It’s NO longer about being current in the process. It’s all about grabbing that ticket and getting in line to pick up your coffee as quickly as possible! The longer you wait, the more distant your priority date becomes, making it harder to order your coffee AND EVEN WORSE GETTING IT PREPARED!.
• Remember, these days,
PP is NOT about being current!
It’s NOT about being current!
It’s NOT about being current!
IS NOT ABOUT BEING CURRENT!!!
Secure your spot and get in line!
Note: Just a friendly reminder in response to many comments I've received asking, “Why should I do PP if I’m not current?” This is not legal advice and it's not mandatory, but it's important to be realistic about the current situation—it’s not getting any better. More and more people are applying, and there aren’t enough staff to keep up with the demand!
I don’t understand why people don’t see that millions are applying and decide to keep waiting because “I’m not current so blah… blah…” and risk waiting and face a possible RFE OR DENIAL!
I don’t get anything from taking my time to write this than the peace of mind that I told 3 times and warned everyone! with a heart felt Post.
• The choice and the responsibility to do what’s best, is yours now,
Good luck to everyone!

Perfect statement. Do PP and get a decision now. Also lawyers are discouraging PP because they don’t want to be overwhelmed with RFE in a short time compared to a year or two later. So if you have the money, do it. Policy can also change at anytime and you don’t want to be caught up in it.

@Mrs Mrs very true. My lawyer is discouraging me too from PP. I had to ask him if my case wasn't strong enough. Only for him to say that if we receive RFE, we would be limited as we have to submit within a month. Unlike regular processing where it gives 3months to address it.

• The only undeniable fact is that we are the ones who truly care about achieving a successful outcome for our case!
• If your case is solid and well-supported, it will be approved. However, if it isn’t, you’ll likely face a Request for Evidence (RFE) or even a denial down the road.
The sooner you're aware of your situation, the quicker you can take action if necessary.
If everything goes smoothly, you'll receive your approval and get in line for the next long wait!
Wish everyone understand this…

@S s Petitioners I know who did PP and got RFEs all got 90 days to respond like regular processing. It would be unfair for USCIS to give 30 days for premium processing applicants especially if an excuse is that the officers use it to buy time.. So your lawyer isn’t correct from what I know. PP still overcrowds them with work in a short time but that is why you are paying them. It is still best to do PP.

@VM Nov. 2024/Texas Me too! but I need to save for AOS for me and my family (4). Honestly I am scared to receive a denial, all my faith and hope is to receive a Approval. I am waiting 504 days, I need two miracles very soon, my approval and other big jump at less 3 months more for to be current for AOS.
Total desperation

@Gustavo Carmona have you tried to contact them? I don't think 500 days is normal at this point. 😕
