About Pending Green Card Application
Hi Lawfully family I have question regarding Pending green card application.. On April 2022 we applied for our case my spouse was green card holder that time , but this year January 2024 he become US Citizen now and we update our case as well.. until now we haven’t heard anything from USCIS. I reach our city congressman and they ask USCIS regarding our case and they said my priority date is not current what does that mean .. ??

that means they still think you’re married to a permanent resident. I would go through the process again to make sure that they have proof of citizenship for your spouse.

honestly I am married to a USC so I am not 100% sure about this. I would do some searches on Reddit because they have a lot more stories there. you’re definitely not alone in this problem. wishing you luck!!! @pooja fnu

Try to ask Emma on USCIS website, request for live chat/talk with an agent, get the latest statues on your case and update them with your husband citizenship statues.
