@pppp pa how do you Know it was transferred? did you get notification

I learnt in the recent news that the government had ordered the present ruling party to process and decide the excessive heaped up green card application backlog. Hoping most of the cases should be decided by the end of this year.

2 months/2 years

I didn’t get any notification for transfer to local office on my i485 .. I automatically got a request for intial evidence 2min this after my vawa approval in July .. I received the RFE in the mail yesterday orange papers .. and it was for birth certificate and medicals .. working on those now ..

… i did mine on april 2021 and it was approved on May 2024 still waiting on i485 😫 i submitting both on 2021 ….

@lily rose did you got interview or waived?

At this point, it’s already the finish line… it’d be nice and faster to get an interview waiver and move on but I don’t mind either way. I just want it over with really at this point… it’s long and excruciating and I’m thankful for the process because I probably would have been in a different situation without it🥴😩

@pppp pa no interview just the mail for RFE for my medicals and birth certificate.. I am confused which one happens first interview before or medical or ??

I just got my RFE for medical in the mail as well 🙏Hopefully it gets accepted as it is with no further requests and a waived interview 🙏… I hope an approval and delivery follows fast as well
