about getting new ssn after green card delivered
hello family ! did anybody got new unristricted SSN automatically after green card delivered
or we need to go SSA for apply for replacement SSN
and if they get automatically how long it’s take to get it in mail ? after green card delivered?

nothing is automatically. You have to go to SSA and change your immigration status there in person

@ppppp ppp every response given is totally correct. they won’t replace your ssn. your ssn will remain the same, they will only lift off the restrictions on your ssn and send you a new card that’s all. and it’s going to take between 2-4 weeks as @blessed & favored said. so bear in mind that the number stays the same, only restrictions are removed. I hope this helps.
