If you experienced emotional and or physical abuse from him that is documented or can be proven you can, which it sounds like you would be able to. You will absolutely want to get an attorney for this though. very sorry to see you are going through such a hard time right now.

As Ekun said, document everything you can. Get all evidence you have and can get and keep it some place safe. A lawyer will absolutely help you out, you just make sure you keep safe.
