mine is eb1a may 2016. I got approved 2 days back.

some people getting it despite PD being current. looks like country quote ended.

@S K I called the helpine live agent & confirmed my correct PD is applied. Interestingly the agent said they see the status as in progress & not pending. So not sure what’s really going on….

think there is a lot of luck factor , depends on how busy the field office is , I applied in April , PD 2016 , no progress and stuck at field office for more than 1.5 month now

that’s might be because September 30 is approaching (end of tax year / end of visa quota year). and during that time they try to approve as many cases that are ready to be approved and don’t miss anything. so they do a review of cases, and the ones that are ready, sent for final adjustments, and the ones where the officer feels the more work is needed - go to CRP. CRP shall be gone after September 30

if they sent you any RFE for 485 (like medical RFE, etc), make sure you respond in time and make sure they actually got your response. sometimes if they loose your response, they can put the case to CRP (this happened in my case)

@Lena h No RFE so far. Medical was submitted with 485 application.

Yesterday my case went to CRP after RFE was received in may last week. my priority dates are current (india)
