same here our case transferred from Nebraska to NBC last October 4, 2022 no update since then.

yes ask emma get an agent and ask for your FO unfortunately they don’t tell on the notice but NBC just shoots it over to a FO that has capacity

br I don’t think expecting anything prior to 6 months is fair so am just waiting for that hopes and prayers for you too. lets just wait it out together

I’ve connected w live agent via Emma few times, continue to say my app is at NBC. I tried getting update on Emma on which office my app is in and the agent disconnected the chat after copying and pasting standard processing timeline language in chat. Has this happened to anyone? Is it cuz I keep checking in every 2-3 weeks?

I’ve received a response from Emma live agent before, today agent disconnected. Should I be concerned !?!

same with me..got transferred from tsc to nbc last sept 26 2022.and then it was updated again oct 12 that my fingerprints were taken.but i did fingerprint last june 2021

my case was transferred from Texas to NBC and then immediately to a field office on August. I’ve talked several times with live agents to verify status and see if my case is still in the same FO. we finally got a medical RFE only for my son on December (we filed medical with the applications and it’s still within the 2 years so I guess it means they lost his file). responded 12 days ago. now we are waiting… hoping to finally get the green card soon. so that some got it almost right after and some waited long months…

most of the time you will not receive update if case transferred to FO. ask emma, Which FO is processing my A-file. Emma will either tell you the FO name or say its at NBC

I’ve been tracking other receipt numbers feom my day on April 2021. 4-5 got decision past week - 2 approvals and 3 denials

so they’re definitely working on apps that were submitted same day as me

yup we’re all in same boat - no clue the sequence of operation. I did hear somewhere they do a number of security checks again at the end of the process, incl fbi, etc etc before approval or sending the app to Field Office

I’m really not sure how they process at nbc, how much comes pre processed from Nebraska

mine was transferred to nbc at the end august 22 and at the next business day to a field office. this is after our 140 and was were approved. since then we were waiting for the 485 approval. status for my husband changed back to biometric received (from case transfer) in October. we thought it’s a sign but nothing happened after. in December they asked for medical for my son. only for him. (even though we sent it along with ours). his case was updated to response received about 2 weeks ago. hoping this is a good sign… but still no movement with the case…

btw I had submitted this service request on Nov 7, took ~90 days to get this response

there a catch 22, even though your case is at NBC you should look at the Nebraska or service center processing time cuz NBC technically doesn’t have a normal processing time window

basically look at processing time where you originally submitted the app

and not where it is currently

eb2-NiW concurrent filing March 2022. My I-140 approved in late Oct. the case was transferred to NBC in mid-Dec. haven’t heard anything since.

This thread is great! I’m in the same boat. my case was transferred from NSC to NBC early September and in Oct my status changed to FP were taken but hasn’t changed since then. Early this week from a tier 1 agent I got to know that my case was transferred in Sept to the Alburqueque FO but it is currently awaiting some documents. Anyone knows what these documents could be? I have not received any notification. PS my EAD is still pending.

agent didn't tell u what docs? didn't u tell him that u didn't receive rfe?

the agent disconnected, I will try this week to ask them if the documents they are awaiting are from me or is it something internal. It is very weird I didn’t get an RFE

My I-485/I-140 were received on Sep 13, I-140 approved on Set 23 (Premium Process), Oct 5 Case was transferred from Texas to NBC, Oct 14 Fingerprints…. Medical sent with I-485 I’m waiting also, almost 5 months

An update from my end. My spouse and my I-485s got approved today (EB1C India) We were basically in the same boat as folks in this thread. 2/3/2021 : I-140 Priority Date 5/6/2021: I-485 Receipt Date (filed concurrently once PD was current for EB1 India) I-140 Approved: 8/23/2022 (this was a very frustrating journey. Initially with Texas for 12 months, Texas transferred it to NBC without adjudicating it in Mar 2022, and then we had to employ Congressman Inquiry and PP, after which it moved from NBC to Nebraska, where it was ultimately approved) 9/13/2022: I-485 transferred back to NBC from Nebraska 10/23/2022: Was told by Level 1 agent that case was transferred to Imperial CA field office (not my local field office) 2/7/2023: Recieved Medical RFE from FO. Letter was dated 2/3/2023. Spouse got Medical RFE, and RFE for Marital Life. We got married in Jan 2021 while we both were in US, may be that’s why. 2/17/2023: Response to RFE submitted via USPS priority mail 2/23/2023: Response to RFE received by USCIS 2/28/2023: Status changed to New Card being Produced for both of us 3/1/2023: Case was Approved for both of us. Hope this information helps others who are waiting patiently like we were. Good luck to you all.
