2yrs and 6months on the wait
I hope someone somewhere see this. I received a determination 5months ago stating my extension was approved and that at the end of the 6 months extension I should get a decision on my case but if there is no decision I will be informed 60 days before the expiration of the extension.
it is 30 days before expiration of extension.
I did not file for extension so I'm trying to understand the information and also see if anyone has such experience.
I had received a prima facae 2 years and 5 months ago with an EAD for 2years which is expiring in March.

@kolo o can you write down what exactly they mentioned in your PF because your statement is little bit confusing

in their words "the request for extension of a prima facie case for classification under the self-petitioning provisions of of the violence against women act has been reviewed and granted
This prima facie determination is valid for a period date of 180 days from the notice date shown above, and will expire
on the date indicated below
we will send a written notice soon as we make a decision on this case. It is not expected that a final decision will be made in this case before end of 180 days. if the period is coming to a close and a decision has not been made in your case you will automatically receive an extension within 60 days of the ending date

@kolo o either you get another PF one week before the old one expires or you will get approved.

@kolo o my question is are you requesting PF every time or you are getting PF automatically?
