@Alexandre Fernandes aleehmagalhaes , thank you for your kind words! It's great to see the number of cases has decreased from 3528 to 725,in my block., as you mentioned. However, it's concerning that the number seems to have plateaued around 799 and it keeps getting slower. Let's keep our faith up and hope for better days ahead in the new fiscal year. @Mak Pushkin I firmly believe that deciding to go for the PP is a very personal choice. In my case, based on resources and priorities, pursuing that path doesn't make sense, especially since EB2-NIW is not current. I am content with patiently awaiting my outcome while aiming for the best result possible. I have done my utmost. However, if you have the means and urgency to pursue it, then why not go for it? @Muhammad Saeed Thank you for your good wishes, I have similar Information., As of now, according to the various sites, analytics websites, and forums I follow across different platforms, the average processing time for EB2-i140 is 335 days. I remain optimistic and hopeful for a swifter and positive outcome. wishing you all the best!

@Clovis Nogueira Some of us use Forums and other websites with crawlers that scan the official website. I’m not comfortable promoting sites, but a quick G00gl search will reveal many options with detailed graphics and explanations of how cases are progressing. And you can just out your block number there and will give you all the data.

the block of the april have 7307 processing and 7113 aprovated i believe that the July block is progressing quickly compared to April, perhaps due to the number of applications received

My PD is Oct 16 23, 325 days. Does this mean that the decision probably is imminent?

@eb2 guy It just means that, 80% of the cases are reviewed by then, but., we can still be on the other 20% and keep waiting…

@Larry Lee , Thank you. I will keep posting if any updates come up sooner! For now, I have my mind set on the 335-day average response time, but if it happens earlier, even better.

I checked my block (249000) and it seems that there are 203 processing and 394 still on "received" status.

@eb2 guy Almost like my block ( proportionally) It seems like there has been almost no progress on my block for the last 3 months, and I think only two cases have been reviewed. This delay is likely due to the end of the fiscal year. Let's remain hopeful that the new fiscal year brings better news. For now, it seems that nothing will move forward anymore. If it does, it will be a blessing!

@KK K I was analysing other cases. It seems that they progressed with many of the October cases in April. I saw some cases being actively being analysed during that month. Interestingly, I received the famous email: "we've taken an action on your case" on April 5th 24. Some cases received the RFE, others received the approval. Given then actual scenario - end of financial year + low availability of visas, I am thinking that they're probably holding my case (with others as well) to release soon. I spoke to a lawyer last month and he mentioned that if there was any doubts from my case, I would have received the RFE in April. Since it's been this long, it was just a matter of waiting. I hope my analysis makes sense. 🤞🏽

i just saw from the latest data released by the USCIS that the pending application number is literally exploded in the last two quarters. they processed very fast until the early summer 2023, then they slowed down by a lot. maybe the new DOF cutoff date for FY25 will be on that time. in any case, we will figure it out in a few days...

@eb2 guy, I'm not entirely confident about the information provided by your lawyer. A few months ago, someone else shared similar information, so I reached out to my law firm for clarification. They said that each case is typically reviewed within a week or two, but the waiting time is not necessarily related to the review period. The review time is determined when they open each case. Based on this, it seems like our cases haven't been reviewed yet, which makes sense because there are many cases that have been waiting for over 12 months and have received requests for evidence, denials, or approvals. I really hope that your lawyer's information is accurate, but personally, I don't think it is. Realistically, it seems like we are still in line and our cases have yet to be resolved. At this point, anything could happen. Of course, that doesn't mean that, we can be lucky enough and get our positive answers sooner… Anyhow at the end of the day no one really knows how they work.
