The status of this service request is:
Recently, you contacted U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) about your Petition for Alien Relative (Form I-130) because you believe your case is outside normal processing times. Your case is currently delayed because the required security checks are still pending. We cannot make a decision on your case until we receive the results of these security checks.
I have an I-130 petition for a spouse who lives in the Dominican Republic. On March 9, 2022 I enter a petition I am still waiting for an approval.
on for a whole year the was no update in the case until May 2023, that change to “ your case is being actively reviewed by USCIS.
On August 2023 I contacted the congresswoman of my town and the response was,
Your constituent’s Form I-130 Petition for Alien Relative is currently pending processing at the Vermont Service Center (VSC).
We have checked into your constituent's case and have been assured that USCIS is aware of your inquiry and is monitoring progress related to it.
However, unresolved issues in your constituent's case require a thorough review before a decision can be rendered.
Unfortunately, we cannot speculate as to when this review process will be completed.
Again on 12/5/2023 I sent an inquiry about the case being outside normal processing time the respond was
We are still reviewing your case. We will mail you a notice when we make a decision.
finally on January 8th 2024 I contacted the office by phone the agent submitted an expedited request and told me to wait a month.
on January 15 case change to estimated time until case decision 5 months.
on January 22, 2024 changed to 2Months.
today January 29, 2024 changed to 5 weeks.
this is the third time I had an estimate that at the end is not accurate.
there is by one here with a similar situation please advise.

i’m from dr waiting too lol, and i advise you to upload new evidence like stuff that happened while u was waiting like you and your husband going to hotels, places, a lot of pictures, just more evidence

I uploaded so many evidence in the past 2-3 years I travel more than ten times.

for Christmas, New years, my birthday, his daughter birthday, vacation in July I brought over my son as well and I uploaded all of the evidence 😫😫😫

Sandunika it is disgusting 🤮 they way we have to wait paid money 💴 cuz it’s not free, and time consuming I am so angry 😡 at this point.

You can sue USCIS for delay on your own, if you cannot afford an attorney, my friend did it for his delayed case, and got papers within 45 days. Do youtube search to learn more about it and to get some help "writ of mandamus pro se"
