20 days in transit to embassy
It’s been 20 days since my case left NVC and went into “In Transit” status. I’m not sure what’s going on but I see most people go into “Ready” status within 2 weeks. It got shipped to the Ankara embassy location. Anyone else experiencing delays and being in “In Transit” status for a long time?

it's been 4 weeks for me at Mexico embassy..I read it could take 4 to 8 weeks! It's normal

I have k1 visa, there is no DQ for us

@Kay j I am k1 visa also my application was filed Jan 27th 2022 Approved March 15th 2023
sent o embassy June 6th 2023.....still not ready for ds 160...

@Jackie B. thank you. yeah, some others have told me it can take around 45 days or so at some busy embassies. Ankara and Mexico embassies are usually busy locations

@Kay j Remember we are K1 much different from others.....they go faster we do not

@Kay j Mine says ready ...I don't understand why the lady helping my fiance said last week she couldn't complete ds160....strange maybe no interview appointment available

Mine says READY today. You can complete DS-160 anytime. I checked today and it said "no appointment available at this time. Please check again in a few days."

@Kay j mine doesn't allow us to go forward and pay visa or schedule appointment....any idea why? maybe the embassy is baches up
