2 years or 10 years green card?
Hello everyone! can you please share your experience or insight once your I-485 approved? on April 19th will be our 2 years wedding anniversary, however, my green card approved Feb 29th. I am still waiting for my green card, does it mean I will be receiving a 2 years conditional green card? not sure if anyone ever receive 10 years before 2 years anniversary, I’m just curious..

@ you will get 10yrs green card while you are still in your country during your 2yrs anniversary

@Jane yim you will have your 2 years because you had the interview within that 2 years and an answer. You could have had a 10 years in a situation where they needed more documents from you before making a decision.

no matter how long it takes, once they approved your interview within the 2 years, it's a conditional even if they late.

@Mrs T , ok now I get it. I wish for 10 years and I don’t want them to take too long. I guess I can’t have it both ways. I just want them to give me an approval right away. I’d just have to work out the conditional part after. Lol
