Stay strong. You will probably hear something soon. I filed 2 yrs ago in Sept. & my case JUST got approved last Friday. Vermont is notorious for being slow.

@CC B ~ FACTS! So many complaints from ppl who just filed. What about ppl like me & others, who filed since 2019 & earlier? My 1st EAD through Vawa JUST got mailed TODAY.

CC ~ Don’t get me wrong, I TOTALLY understand their frustrations, but it’s like you said, these ppl, got approved before the 2 yr mark & it STILL wasn’t fast enough.
I can’t wait until I’m making money & I can actually support myself again. I hate depending on my mother for everything.
Ola ~ It’s a very stressful process, but you’ve got to keep yourself busy & your mental intact. Do you have a support system of friends or a therapist that you can use as your outlet? The resources are out there, you just have to know where they are & how to go about getting help. hth
