hey, to be honest with you 601a is the least of this administration priorities, they increased the time frame, they more occupied with the parole for Ukraine, Cuba, hiati, Venezuela allowing thirty thousand every month to come in and have over 1.5 million applications pending so they don't go to the border and make the administration look weak .They asked the judge to dismiss the lawsuit based on jurisdiction and timing shouldn't be an issue because it's a wavier, 601a is the sacrificial lamb of immigration, it went from 6months to 36 months under this administration, A new administration might be better , they will stop the parole program.

I wish I know that before , you se when you ask lawyer they so optimist give you good words yes 60 days this that ! soon they get you money , your nothing to them anymore all of the sudden they become so busy can’t even answer your questions, they have no answer

during trump administration it took me i212 to get aproved 4 months ! and i130 13 months! now if your lucky 2 years at least

@darden FL, I did ask my lawyer about the 601a litigation suit she told me the lawsuit won't change anything because it was this administration that increased the time so they will defend why they increased the time and she told me not to join the lawsuit and it made sense , back to the wait game

Darden it’s only I 601A that take so long or with i130 ? because I did my mandamus it’s now 2 months but no response yet ,it’s i130 base on mariage.

Darden Fl my lawyer just sent a notice of intent to fil mandamus against uscis attorney general,he said it’s the best way to get things done so did you think or hear anyone did the same thing and it went well? it’s I 130 base on family base

nickon I wish I know so I can tell you but not much education out there about mandamus . lawyers talk good about it until they get your money after that they don’t even answer phone call , so it’s a gamble ! I wish I never did it for my self , 10 more days will be 4 months since mandamus I filed 😔

@Darden Fl my attorney filed a mandamus for my husband’s case about 2 weeks ago. His i601A is from March 2020 Nebraska. Our attorney said that we should receive an answer from USCIS in 60 days and she was confident that the mandamus will work for our case because it is outside of the normal processing time. I’m sorry to hear that you haven’t heard anything yet. you should definitely insist on talking to your attorney. I consider ourselves lucky because our attorney and his whole office is great. I really hope you hear good news soon about your mandamus.

@Darden Fl. Am also from Florida and I did individual writ of mandamus on March first week yesterday my lawyer talk to the state attorney and they said they gonna file the motion to dismiss.

I was having an idea of when we spend this much money to file the Mandamus they gonna give me an answer....now they gonna fight against my case

one of my friends got moved to Potomac and he got a letter that saying the reason that for "speed processing"

now beacuse everyone started filing mandamus government is finding new reason to stop us there too
