it took me 3 days to receive an email from NVC

i submitted I-130 in September 19, 2021, an i received a letter from uscis that my case was received October 5, 2021 and since then I haven't received any information concerning my case. it been 7 months now, what can I do family

i really need help understanding how this works..it been 7 months and the funny part of it all...I have my 6 years old step daughter and my husband documents Mail together...In February her status change to active reviewing and my husband is still case received October 5
