I’m also surprised by how fast it was. I thought I would get the EAD first (submitted together) and wait another 6-9 months for the actual AOS to get approved. There was really no blocker on my side except getting PERM and I-140 (expedited). But that’s pretty standard timeframe

They did not skip it. The biometrics was applied from my I-765 EAD case
