Artur DFeb 8, 2024
more than 660 days here š
j sFeb 8, 2024
@Kevin Rowe I applied for I140 + i485 concurrently on Jan 26. I140 approved June 10th. EAD + AP approved in March. waiting since (8months since 140 approval)
j sFeb 8, 2024
last time I spoke to Emma (last week) it said my case is in Queens FO, timeline for there is up to 30 months š¢ Iām based in New York and all FOs this way are a long wait.
Kevin RoweFeb 8, 2024
I can't handle that long, it's killing me slowly as it is @j s
Kevin RoweFeb 8, 2024
@Ellie Bdy that does not bode well for me! hope you're greened soon. my batch is MSc249010 and seems a lot of approvals daily from casestatus site but they're all so random you just have no idea when
S SSFeb 8, 2024
@j s That 30 months is from the date you applied. Generally things are load balanced and it should be much earlier than 30 months. Some get unlucky though. I am waiting since August 2022. Case currently @ Brooklyn NY.
j sFeb 8, 2024
@S SS yeah Iām aware. itās so hard to stay patient when there is seemingly little logic to the way cases are processed/approved. Iām always so happy to see people get their approvals but itās also tough when they apply long after you.
S SSFeb 8, 2024
@j s I am with you in this. They are very inconsistent. I have seen several people applied 1 year after me and have got approved. Some are getting approval within 2-3 months. Itās actually a game of probability when there are a deluge of applicants.
A AFeb 8, 2024
those who wait for more than 12 months can do writ of mandamus to speed up the case review
A AFeb 8, 2024
contact Hacking immmigration law, ask for their opinion when you can sue them, Iām sure itās not 4 year period. my friend sued after 12months
Pray GratefulFeb 9, 2024
@j s how did you talk to Emma, I havent been able to use Emma since two months ago as itās been saying the service is down
A AFeb 9, 2024
just keep refreshing the window or just call them
S SSFeb 9, 2024
@Sina S Call the 1-800 number thatās given in your transfer letter or RFE letter. itās the service center number. When you call you will hear an automated message . when you are asked for what you want, say Infopass appointment.
j sFeb 9, 2024
@Sina S as @A A said, I kept refreshing and selecting connect to live agent. every time I ask for an update and they give me a basic response which is āitās within processing timeā and leave the chat immediately. on the last occasion I asked a specific question āwhere is my case being processedā and thatās how I heard about queens, but also the agent said itās within processing time in the same message then left immediately.
S SSFeb 9, 2024
@j s In my case my AP processing time has surpassed the processing time they have put up in their website. They should approve within 17 months but mine is now 18. But it seems like it is up to their discretion if they want to follow these processing times or not. I have raised multiple Service requests but nothing came out of those. I am not sure whatās the purpose of publishing processing times if they are just ignored.

Kevin RoweFeb 9, 2024
For EB @j s they wont tell me anything, say I have to go through employer/immigration lawyers
j sFeb 9, 2024
@Kevin Rowe yes theyāre often very short or simply say itās in processing time. itās purely luck of the draw when it comes to the assigned agent.
Kevin RoweFeb 9, 2024
only tried once, don't want to push my luck or may slip me back a few places @j s
