same here. we filed in 2012 and our case went to California service center. they’re currently reviewing files from 2006 so we still have a lot of waiting left

@Leby E what about a US citizen filing for parent, how long you think it may take please?
r/tps 🧢Dec 5, 2021
@virgi first depends where your parent from? every country has different processing case time
usually take 3 to five years
virgi stvlDec 5, 2021
even though you're a citizen it's gonna take that long?🥺
r/tps 🧢Dec 5, 2021
example you can’t compare India to England, where there are more cases come from India than England in uscis.
that’s why people from asia their cases take years to have a visa available
virgi stvlDec 5, 2021
ok I understand!
r/tps 🧢Dec 5, 2021
@virgi Yep, my cousin filled for his mother and he’s US citizen and that case 3 years
virgi stvlDec 5, 2021
oh my God,I'm gonna have to wait!🥺🥺
r/tps 🧢Dec 5, 2021
@virgi Did your parent I-130 approve already?
if not, it might take 6 months to 1 year and half to approve
after that you parent have to wait for a Visa to be available and interview at their consulate.
if your parent already live in USA, you only have to fill I-485 for the residence
virgi stvlDec 5, 2021
@leby E it's been 9 months since I'm waiting and she's not living in the US!!!
r/tps 🧢Dec 5, 2021
where your parent from?
like i said depends which country your parent from and I-130 usually take 6 to 1 year and half to approve

Buzz KingDec 5, 2021
if US citizen applies for parent, there is no visa waiting time. Visa is always available. . The delays are due to administrative delays and consulate closures. Can take anywhere from 6 months to 2 years.

ojo PatrickFeb 13, 2022
YES I GOT MY APPROVAL SINCE 2008,GOTTEN MY LSG NUMBER, GOTTEN MY INVOICE NUMBER AS WELL.BUT PRESENTLY MY CASE IS UNDER REVIEW AT USCIS. VICTORY IS SURE FOR ALL OF US (AMEN)🙏🥰🙏
Funmi OguntuaseFeb 13, 2022
Have you signed into CEAC with those numbers?
ojo PatrickFeb 13, 2022
YES! BUT I WAS TOLD TO HOLD ON TILL MY PRIORITY DATE IS CURRENT. HOW FAR ABOUT URS.
Funmi OguntuaseFeb 13, 2022
you should start filling in o. so that you can get DQed on time. you know after one year of receiving your welcome letter if you don't do anything then you would forfeit the visa. once you get a welcome letter then your case is no longer with USCIS
ojo PatrickFeb 13, 2022
OK NOTED I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR CARE AND CONCERN. HAVE U DONE URS TOO.
Funmi OguntuaseFeb 13, 2022
