if your spouse was a US citizen then you should file your AOS you don’ t need to wait, if they were LPR then i believe there’s a cap limit like VAWA has 2 yrs after divorce. consult a lawyer especially if they were LPN if USC you can go ahead and file yourself it’s pretty straight forward.

file your I-485 immediately after your VAWA is approved. You don’t need to wait any longer , once VAWA is approved

@blessed & favored my spouse died while he was Green card holder and N400 got approved by the time interview came in unfortunately he died due to Covid , our I130 petition is still pending and it’s been 1300 days . what option do I have in such condition which can take me to green card route . please advise
