🎉 I GOT APPROVED TODAY! 🎉
Hi everyone! I just wanted to share some good news—my marriage-based green card was approved today after my interview on June 4th (adjusting status from pending asylum/TPS). I’ve been super anxious throughout the whole process, constantly checking my status a million times (I know many of you can relate!). This journey isn’t easy, but just wanted to say: hang in there. I’m wishing all of you the very best—may your process go smoothly, quickly, and bring you peace. 🙏💚 Feel free to ask if you have any questions about the interview or process!

Congratulations, may God bless you. I'll soon have my interview just like you. What questions did the immigration officer ask you, and what was the process like?
Ceci .Jun 11, 2025
@El Static no, I investigated and that’s a red flag. It could get you out of status and get them suspicious too. Once you have the green card on hand you can withdraw your case but before that isn’t recommended.

@h b it was very similar to this mock interview, the officer was very nice but still professional, I didn’t remember some dates exactly but I had all the information and copies with me. She went over the I-485 yes/no questions, the I-130 information, how did we meet? how long we have been living together? and things like that but nothing crazy we were just honest with our answers and that’s it https://youtu.be/GZG2qB_lQeU?si=qSeKwZS3Z5tjw5kf.

@N K watch this video, it helped me a lot to know what to expect, the questions were very basic about the 130 how did we meet, how long we have been living together, if I knew his family and he knew mine, my 485 yes/no questions, nothing too personal honestly the officer was very nice but still professional, I didn’t remember some dates exactly but I had all the information and copies with me. https://youtu.be/GZG2qB_lQeU?si=4dtLJkUDBVOclhlP

Did they ask you any questions about your pending asylum case ?
Ceci .Jun 11, 2025
@ one question because it was related to the I-485 but I answered it and it was fine. They just wanted to confirm but is always good to read your case before going to the interview

My interview was on March 14th in the Orlando field office, and I still haven’t received any response. I’m still waiting.
Ceci .Jun 12, 2025
@ I hope you hear something soon! If you received the notice saying your case is being held for review, you can reach out to them after 120 days.
