Thanks guys.. @Neftalí Fé yes now is the time to wait for i-485.. @haada haada I know am going to get RFE for medical for the I-485 because I haven't done yet...

@Jada Jojo just get it done now and wait so you have it when they ask, and save yourself the time. I wanted to do that but time got away from me and I didn't. Some of these physicians have appointments a month down the road so find one now

@Kerry S can one do medicals before USCIS asks for it?? explain the process please

@Jada Jojo if you've never given them one before they are going to request it. I'm suggesting getting it done while you wait for them to ask. That way, when they do ask, you can return it immediately instead of waiting another month to schedule the appointment and get shots etc.

As of April 2024 the medicals don't expire, and they can cost upwards of $300. Go to uscis and look up uscis civil surgeons in your area

@Kerry S my lawyer said I have wait for USCIS to request it before doing it, I talk to her today..

@Jada Jojo that doesn't make sense. You're not going to send it and they're definitely going to ask. You're going to wait at least 2 months for them to ask, and then try to get it done then. You could save yourself some time but hey, you can take the advice of your lawyer. That's why you pay them.
