hey family, wow it’s been a ride. Need some advice. So I have been waiting since like September 2022 and my lawyer submitted I-360 and all the requiered evidence like 100 pages, marriage certificates, pictures, 10 written afidavit statements about my character, VAWA center letter confirming physicalogicsl and physical abuse, pictures, you name it!
3+ years later of silence I recieved this RFE in the notification says additional request for evidence that I will get a letter. Is this standard procedure? wondering why if we’ve proved our whole case attached to our initial application.. any advice? 🥲

Took the oath yesterday 09.11.2025. It’s been a very long and exhausting journey but the end result was great; I’m now a US citizen.
Thanks to you who had been sharing your experiences cuz they helped. My greatest wishes and prayers to you all pursuing your citizenship dreams. It’s gonna be tough but you will surely get through with big smiles.

I know many are disappointed that the VB didn't move for final action date, but the good news is many people will get to file with a substantial jump for filing date. If you remember last year, we were let down with Oct VB as well and things started moving in Jan this year. So there might be a good chance it will be the case for this new fiscal year.
