i hope we should stay positive even FAD is still in feb 22.. filing date moves in apr 23 meaning FAD can also move in upcoming months.. just pray 🙏

@RW BM why do filing dates mean nothing? are you referring for people who have already filed their 485 applications? For ones like me who are waiting to file, is it still no benefit with these dates moving?

i think re medicals rfe has been issued to some folks in oct 2022 priority date.

this means uscis getting doc ready till october. they may anticipate spillovers

@ss dachavaram @RW BM @J Z I think there is some cause for optimism after all based on few pointers. first off the DOF has moved by a year which is unusual unless there is something brewing or it’s a typo. if it’s a typo we will know by Monday. secondly, there are several folks here in lawfully and outside of this forum I know of with PD of Oct, Nov and Dec 2022 who have received RFEs for medical. that again makes me believe that USCIS would not have issued unless there is a possibility. lastly there are Feb 2022 PD folks who have started getting approvals too. so maybe one possibility is that Oct will be to clear the pending ones in this FY as it became unavailable and then expect some movement towards end of 2025/ beginning of 2026. again no harm in hoping 😊

@Regular guy @arijit de this is news to me that PDs of Oct through Dec 2022 getting RFE. Can you please share the source of information? my PD is July 2022.. No word from USCIS so far. As rightly said, hope for the best!

I had received the medical RFE in Nov-2024 and my PD is Dec-2022. since nov-2024 it’s in CRP .

@GC Check make sure you get the polio vaccine. USCIS made it mandatory last year and many civil surgeons are not aware of this rule. seen a lot of rfe for polio vaccine.

@GC Check - my PD is March 2022. responded to the medical RFE in Jan 2023, and immediately after that case moved to CRP status. When I see your above message, I understand that you got second RFE for medicals, as the first one was expired. is that right ?
