@C M what's the rfe for and what are they asking for

@Sind D I just recieved a notification update from the app, checked USCIS and it says something like they sent a letter saying additional evidence but I’m just overthinking about this because we literally sent all and everything that is evidence to the case.. is this a usual process for them to request RFE then approve or should I had just went straight into a decision?

@Ibe trust God But we sent in like 3 different police county information and like 10 affidavits from people talking about my marriage and how detrimental it was but also about my moral character. hopefully they just ask me to send in my previous documentation again or something .-.

Evidence you and/or your child(ren) suffered battery or extreme cruelty perpetrated by the alleged abuser. Evidence you are a person of good, moral character (generally, the Service requests police clearances from each locality in which you have lived for at least 6 months during the past three years).* Evidence you married the alleged abuser in good faith.

they kept sending someone I know rfe, she sent until she had nothing else and they send again for more. she eventually just gave up her case. I dont know what more they expect.

Mine is same time line like yours 12 September 2022 still nothing, at least you got some movement.

prime face doesn’t mean shit to be honest. so they didn’t confirmed what kind abuse you had..

@can gol Did your lawyer submit all evidence at the same time as VAWA application? Did yall submit anything else with it like adjustment of status with your application?

@esward S @kp h @can gol @🙏MY GOD IS ON TIME🙏 🙏 @J k @umer ghulam @bahi mansi Hey family! I recieved my RFE letter and they want me to provide verification on my abuser’s citizenship. I don’t have that so I just gave them as much information as I could about my spouse. They also asked for me to send in more evidence for good faith marriage for example lease documents or utility bills. I sent them a lease document and 3 years of taxes filed together with same address. They also asked for more information on a DUI arrest I got March 2023 which was BS and got demoted to a Wreckless driving, I sent them the final disposition on that. they gave me until December 12th to send in all the documents. Hopefully I hear back from them soon with some great news!!
