1. If my Emergency travel date is Sept.12th 2024 from the U.S to Canada, how much time in advance should I apply for an Advance Parole?
2. What do I need to bring to the interview?
3. If I’m flying in and then driving back with my American husband, will I need to show proof if I am driving back? What proof should I bring?
4. If someone gets denied for an EAP, what happens to their I-485 and/or I-130 cases?
5. If anyone has had any experience meeting with an officer, what are the kinds questions that officers will ask?

EB1A: 19 months of waiting - Is this normal?
Hey Lawfully users,
I am interested in your opinion. USCIS processing times state that 80% of all cases are processed within 16 months at Texas Service Center.
Nowadays, I see that case decisions happen much faster.
So I wanted to know your opinion: is 19 months of waiting normal?
My case inquiry date is right now November 19, 2024.
I only have the option to wait or file for premium processing. I do not believe that filing for premium processing makes much sense after waiting for 19 months.
what do you think? how long will it take until a decision is likely?

I got a “USCIS account A-number already associated” error while filing N-400 online. Has anyone else encountered this also?
I recently tried filling out N-400 form and I was surprised to find that when I was asked to enter the A-number in the application, I got an warning note saying this account has been associated with the A-number and asked whether I am submitting on someone else’s behalf. Has anyone encountered this error?
F2a, petitioning for my wife who is on J1 visa
Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has been through a similar experience and can guide me. I am currently a permanent resident and my wife is in the USA on J1 visa. I am really confused about I-485 part, I have spoken to two layers and one said I can't file I485 till I-130 gets approved and another one said you can file it if your date of filling in the visa bulletin is current. I would really appreciate it if anyone can help me to clarify this process. Thank you so much.
