Green card approved while no longer current
Hi,
This is my curent situation, my PD is Oct, 2022 and I was current from April-June,2024 (EB3 ROW). In the July visa bulletin, the Final date retrogressed to before my PD. My case has been in a case remaining pending (CRP) status since Dec, 2023 until July 16th, 2024 when status changed to “New Card is being produced” and subsequently an approval status. However, I am concerned that an approval outside of my current status will be detrimental to me down the line when I apply for citizenship. I have spoken to my lawyer and they share this concern too and are waiting till I get my green card in hand before following up with USCIS.
The questions I have are: has anyone else faced this situation or in a similar situation? How long did it take to get a resolution? Is there a possibility that I got approved internally(Visa Number allocated) around end of June and it took a while to get the external communication?
I was really looking forward to this approval and now I cannot even celebrate because of this worries :(

Financial Aid, School and Expired Prima Facie
My financial aid Pell Grant is on hold due to an expired prima facie determination. It expired on March 11, 2023, with no updates since. My lawyer contacted the Vermont office to send a new one, but we haven't received anything from them so far. I am so sad and stressed.
I have two questions:
1- What document can I give to my school to allow me to study, like proof of being a legal non-eligible citizen?
2- Is there any way I can get access to my Pell Grant? It's literally in my student account, but my school won't distribute the funds due to the expired prima facie determination

and i changed my mind ,im traveling before august 1st is that a problem?
does the immigration officer gonna ask me for my travel insurance information or other info when i get there?
Supplement J RFE | NBC to Non-Local FO
Hello,
I have just received a RFE for Supplement J. I am from a back-logged country (India), with an older PD. Haven’t changed my employer but did move to a new home. I have heard this is pretty common, is that true?
The notice also says to respond ASAP to be considered for visa allocation for this fiscal year (ending on Sep 10). Seems the case got transferred from NBC to San Jose FO (my local one is Newark).
Will the 485J and i485 be approved together? or am I now going to track two separate cases with different timelines?

since I am a member of this kind vawa group, saw That I am only person who got 360 approved. But didn’t get EAD card C31 because I didn’t apply for it at beginning of my application. Base on what was wrote on my 360 approval notice.
On July 12 ,2024 , I sent a package to Vermont center for apply ead card c31 , attached a copy of my 360 approval notice , copy of form I-94, copy of pending 485 and letter to explain about my request . I knew that there’s no difference to have it or not , because I have ead card c9 what valid for 5 years .
Does anyone knows uscis will issue an ead card for me basis C31 and how long will take to get that ?
However; I am waiting for to get a decision on my 485 now .

CRP when current. Non local FO
I’ve been current since March 2024. On June 18, 2024 our case was moved to non local NY FO, and status changed to CRP. Found out from Emma that the case was moved back to NBC on July 2 and then moved back to NY FO on July 17. Anyone know what’s going on here? Was very confused why our case went into CRP stating no visas available when current and now they are playing tag with my case.
