I want to share my details with you!
Marriage based - FO: Queens, NY - PD: March 2021
I don’t think this is a standard interview experience whatsoever - I am so happy though. Me and my husband came there on time - we had to wait for about 30-40 minutes, I don’t know exactly because we couldn’t have our phones and there was no Clock on the wall in the waiting room.
the officer finally came out and said our names - super friendly guy. I am not joking when I am telling you that he didn’t ask a single thing about our marriage. He did not ask for any documentation or proof. He only asked me the yes and no questions and some questions about my recent travel - basically confirm where I was going. He also asked about my immigration history. He asked my husband how he became a citizen because he wasn’t born here. that’s it guys! THATS IT! I was approved on spot and new card is being produced.
I am also getting my 10 year Greencard because we have been married for 2,5 years.
I am so thankful, happy and I don’t even know what. this has been a very long journey and I saw no light in the tunnel for a while. I was in there for about 15 minutes only.

Had interview yesterday and we were told on the spot the card will be in our hands within two weeks!!

EAD and AP applied separately but approved together
hi all,
just want to thank you in advance because y’all have been so very helpful beyond your need to be.
I applied for I-765 and I-131 separately, with the I-131 filed about a month later. last week, they were both approved at the very same moment as I got notifications of approval on both applications at the same time. is there a chance that they will decided to produce a combo card even though they weren’t filed concurrently? I ask because according to USPS tracking, my EAD expected delivery is Monday. However, if my travel document is being produced separately, I’m really afraid of delays between ‘travel doc produced’ and ‘travel doc mailed’ based on experiences I read on this forum with some people saying it has taken a long time to receive the AP after approval. I was so excited about its approval because I could visit family for the holidays but now I’m so afraid it’ll take ages to receive. anyone have any experience or insight? thank you in any case 🙏🏼

I-130 Approved
My I-130 was approved on January 25, 2021 and USCIS has done nothing with the file since then, they have not yet sent it to NVC, the only response to an inquiry I have received was that our cases was under extended review, this makes no sense since I received the 797- Notice of Status Change and approval of the I-130. What is happening here?

Just wanted to share my timeline with everyone:
Married to US LPR and PD is 1/21/2021. Completed interview on 11/30 at San Diego FO. The officer was very nice and friendly - not a stressful process at all. Basically just answered questions from the applications and some casual questions on how we met, future plans, etc. We also provided all the joint documents and photos. Got approved on the spot and received green card in the mail on 12/8 (about a week after the interview).

I-765 EAD APPROVED - FILED IN JUNE 2021
I did by myself request to expedite the processing of my EAD on November 19, 2021 due to severe financial lost to company or individual. I received an email from USCIS for further evidence on November 29. I sent them by email and fax on December 1rst and my EAD was approved on December 2nd, 2021. On December 07, 2021, I did receive my EAD approval and today I receive my employment authorization card. I’m happy to receive it and I thank the Great Architect of the Universe. It’s important to share some information to the community because these informations always give hope to someone you never know. Here is my timeline:
— December 6, 2021 Card Was Picked Up By The United States Postal Service
— December 6, 2021 We mailed your new card your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, directly to the address you gave us.
— December 3, 2021 We approved your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization.
— December 2, 2021 We ordered your new card.
— December 2, 2021 We approved your request for expedite processing.
— June 15, 2021 We received your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization.

SSN AFTER RECEIVING EAD
just wanted to let u all know people what I'm up to:
Finally received my ead on Nov 24th but unfortunately we still have to wait for ssn which I haven't received up to today Dec 8th. it's been more than 7 business days so I just got a hold of the ssn field office and schedule an appointment ( I have been trying the whole week and finally got a human being to take my call) I got a job and they require it in the paperwork. The person that made the appointment on phone for me said that It's never gonna get to my mail if I dont apply for it but that's not true bc I know people from here that have got ssn in 7 business days or less after receiving EAF and with same timeline. Haven't had the interview or anything yet. I'm waiting for it to be scheduled. That's where I stand as of today guys!
