you need to contact USCIS and USPS ASAP

* Check if it was delivered to your attorney office * Check with neighbors, leasing office staff if applicable * Check any security cameras to see if mailman arrived to your place at the time package was marked delivered * File missing mail request with USPS. They will call you back in a day or two * Wait couple of days. Sometimes USPS accidentally sets the wrong status for the mail piece. I once had a package marked delivered to me at 3am. Apparently, it was delivered to local hub but they clicked the wrong button. I got the package next day.

I tried but delivered notice was after 5pm and post office was already closed. I didn't try with USCIS bcs I guessed it was closed as well.

You can file missing mail request online. No need to call them. The wait to be connected to operator is usually long. See #3 here: https://www.usps.com/help/missing-mail.htm

I think it was delivered to my place. I have USPS expected delivery service and I have received sms at 2pm saying it was expected by 5.15pm. Then another saying delivered at 4.56pm, run to my mailbox and nothing. Asked leasing office and nothing. I cannot believe it, a year waiting for the card.

With informed delivery, you can mark missing piece as not received from your account too. I would still file the request because I always have a good experience with USPC reaching out to me and resolving the issue. You may also try to ask your mailman tomorrow if he remembers the package. Who knows.

Check in with USPS tomorrow. It possible they made a mistake and it still with them. I had similar experience where a mail was marked as delivered but it was still with them.

Try the help request form maybe. There is something that you can do right away. I don’t recall the exact name of the form though . Last time the package I sent didn’t leave local post office for 3 days. I Filled some form and they got back to me in a day or two

@Ana that's happened to me and was delivered to my lawyer office. the tracking number is correct but is gonna show delivered.i went to the USPS store and I gave my tracking number and they confirm was in the lawyer.if you go tomorrow morning you can said is a gov card and you need to know where was delivered.

go to your local office office that delivered mail to your zip code and give them the tracking number to look for it

I had the same issue the app said it was delivered on Monday but they actually delivered it on Tuesday.

This happened to my husband and it was the most stressful 4 days. we checked with our neighbors, filled a missing mail, call USPS, posted in neighborhood forums in FB to see if someone had received instead, etc etc It should up in the mail four days after it said delivered 🤷🏻‍♀️ Id suggest calling daily your USPS local office until it gets located. Make them understand how important it is (as they don’t know it). I know they same thing happened to me a couple months ago again with my drivers license.

Thanks guys for your support. 1. I doubt it was delivered to my lawyer since, beside USCIS case status saying it was delivered, I have received informed delivery notification from USPS, which is linked to my address. 2. It was expedite request, actually it is my husband’s card, mine is still pending and I think it is gonna take still a couple of months. I hope it will come and you all are right, but USPS lost my husband’s EAD card 2 years ago, and he needed to reply because there was no way to proof they lost it as they kept saying it was delivered.

We just got the card. It was at the post office. Now fingers crossed to get mine soon. Thanks all!
