Case Approved
EAD renewal under AOS c(9) at SRC approved
I want to share that my EAD renewal under AOS was just approved at the Texas Service Center. my PD is 2/9/2021.
I tried to expedite 3 times, 2 myself and one through congresswoman, they were all denied.
I hope this helps somebody.
approval took 310 days, my 180-days extension ended on 12/12.
I don’t know if this was just luck.
Finally greencard on hand.
Hi all, I finally have my green card on hand. My EAD was taking forever and finally, we contacted the congressman to inquiry. after that everything went super fast. got my EAD in 1 week and interview notice soon after. The interview was smooth too. Just conversational. First, he went over our forms and updated all new addresses and employment histories. Then the officer asked how we met, who swipe right on the dating app first, how was the wedding, why no older people/ family was there ( our families don't approve of our marriage). What's the plan for the future? In the end, he asked if we have any additional proof. We gave him another big file. then he said he need to check some stuff before making a decision.
About 1 hour after the interview we got approval online and one week after got the card in the mail.
If you are waiting for a long time and your case is taking longer the regular processing call your Congressman or senator directly instead of inquiring yourself. cause then the senator's office will tell you to wait for their response for 30 some days which is absurd.

My friend’s timeline
Texas Service Center. He sent only the application for EAD, in 29 days the case is already approved and a new card is being produced. So people that are doing only this are getting the EAD in a very short time, another friend did the exactly same thing and he got approved in 22 days.

Error message on the tracking
so i have gone for my interview and got approved and gotten my card and all the documents. i got a notification on the app that a notice was sent back to USCIS because it could not be delivered after the case said approved and stuff all this while. Anyone experiencing that too.
interview experience
Our interview was on November 30th it went well. Officer told us that she will review the case and we will receive our green card in the mail unless they notify us they need something from us. Case status did not get updated until yesterday which was “interview was completed and case must be reviewed and today “case was approved” I hope this helps everyone who has the same situation

CASE APPROVED Marriage Based. ( I-485)
thank you guys for all the shared moments and insites your stories have helped me along my journey since finding about this community.
I wonna share my journey with you guys
I got married in 2018 and applied in august 2019, with all required documentation, got my initial interview in October 2020, went to the interview and got denied on the basis that my husband was a green card holder and I over stayed my J1 visa only my I-130 was approved.
fast farward to 2021
I reapply in April 2021 went through all the necessary steps required by Uscis.
received my EAD in November and couple days after receiving it I got a letter with my interview date which was today 12/15/2021 @8:15 field office Mount Laurel.
went in checked in at the front desk, it was pretty easy and fast the interview called us back me my husband and my son. she greated us and we sat down . the only thing she did reminded me why I was t approved the last time and asked the YES & NO questions. then she told me right there and then that I was being approved for a 10 year green card . 🎉🎉🎉
so yes that’s my journey through the system but even though it was a harsh journey for me it was worth waiting and I am greatfull.
Good luck to you all and I’m sending blessings and prays to everyone’s way. 🙏
