EAD approved
finally yesterday got the “card is being produced” notification for my EAD! It is a standalone and I was hoping for a combo but Im still very happy. hopefully AP will be approved somewhat soon, or else I’ll just wait to de actual GC to visit home 🙏🙏🙏 hope good news come soon enough for everybody ! amen

as the primary my case was approved first and then the beneficiary (my wife) was approved a few days after. we called and put a ticket for a non emergency request for review. the wait is finally over. stay strong guys.

i-130 Approved.. But!
Hey guys, my case for my wife who is currently overseas got approved yesterday, but in the approval letter it says that USCIS retained my file until I either file form i-485 or form i-824.
They said "The above petition has been approved. However, you indicated on the petition that the beneficiary intends to apply for an immigrant visa abroad at a U.S.
Embassy or a U.S. Consulate and will also apply for adjustment of status in the United States. Since you have indicated both options, USCIS has retained
the petition..
what should I do now? please advise. 🙏
i really don't want to file a new form and pay almost $500 for fees and then wait longer. I tried to call but the system hangs up on me everytime I ask for an agent. how do i connect to a live agent over the phone? anyone?
