You probably want to contact them and clarify that your wife is overseas and will apply via a Consulate, and not adjustment of status in the US.

I suspect they’re going to make you file the I-824 but it’s worth a shot. Try using Emma to connect to a live agent

To speak to a live agent. Call the number and when the machine ask ….. what can I do for you today?, say “ info pass”. Then hold on, it will transfer you to a live agent.

my petitioner called uscis I received the same letter 24 days ago that they approved me and they told him that they would send my case to the NvC that did not send the form I am waiting too

Hello Layth, I did the same and filled both 61 and 62 options. they approved by my father's case in September 2022. but retained his case and wants me to file another form I-824. since than I am struggling. please tell me did they made you file I-824 Or they sent it to NVC.

I have the same problem. I have applied for a tourist visa, filled out form I 824, and sent 2x465 usd too . This is just ridiculous. Just because I typed a word to 61a , we are all suffering :(
