Your I-485 Case is Administartively closed
Hello all-
I’m kind of stressed I just received this notification stating that my case was I-485 is administratively closed. Kindly please share your experience. it stated that they mailed out the notice explaining why they closed it. Is is a good thing or bad any information is highly appreciated. Thanks

@juniremix junior yes I'm and filed a joint motion 8 months ago and last month they accepted my case.

after judge accepts is how long does it take for the case to be approved??

do not file I-290b motion to reopen? make an info pass appointment with the court order and a written letter. go to uscis field office where you had your interview and hand it to them

@poto mac hi Potomac yes my removal proceeding case was dismissed and then they reopened my case again and after that they issues RFE and I responded and all it shows now they received ed my RFE response and it has been 25 days but no decision yet..hoping that soon I receive some good news

@poto mac- It was for birth certificate even though I submitted everything with my initial filing and yet they asked for the same thing so I didn't question and resent it to them again.

@F A they received my RFE and I have been waiting for their decision for almost 2 months now when I asked Emma the agent told me they are reviewing and I should receive a decision within 60days but In my progress tab of the USCIS shows 1 week which has been there for the past one month..I don’t know how long it’s gonna take..fingers crossed
