@sam mete I was just wondering if I was the only one who noticed that they are quicker to approve the CR1 than IR1 because it's more profitable for them....."SHAME ON THEM" SMH😔

just do info pass and talk to someone in person. my mother in law was told to wait till 2024 and she ssw that her case should take 6months so right at 6 months we did an infopass officer said to wait 60days and sure enough case was approves. this was done last month. good luck. also if you want you could do a foia request and 30 days later once you receive your foia they will move your case. we this this for a friend doing his citizenship waited 2yrs and nothing till we did the foia. again best of luck.
poto macSep 18, 2023
@Steph Gav what is info pass ?
Steph GavSep 18, 2023
when you contact USCIS you say info pass. they will answer you and ask why you would like an info pass= appointment to speak to someone about your case. once you have that info pass you will speak with an officer about your case in person. hope this helps

@poto mac it's outside processing time. I-130 processing time for Potomac is 14.5 months only. What's your Field Office?
Jennie .Sep 18, 2023
@Steph Gav FOIA Freedom Of Information Act have absolutely no impact on your filling. I have mine over 3 months ago. U will only receive all the same information U filed to USCIS, that's all.
Steph GavSep 18, 2023
@JENNIE . True. Im just giving suggestions as how a case went throught these process personally. Not giving false hopes just helping and seeing if this could help someone. This is something I went through. But by all means the OP can decide what they can and cant do to there case.

@Steph Gav sure, my advice for him is to file immediately for out of processing time. Contact USCIS asap. Also, why didn't he file for his Green Card together with I-130 same time?
I can't wait to see if the green card is really greenSep 18, 2023

@poto mac U will get the FOIA in less than 2 months, but what U will receive is just all the documents U filed. The good thing about FOIA is if there are missing documents, U can easily see it & then upload via Unsolicited Evidence section of your USCIS online account. Listen, contact your State Senator or Ombudsman, if U don't have a lawyer, then U will have to reach out immediately for one that is lawyers that specializes only out of processing time. Go through this lawfully app, there are several people I have seen that got approvals after almost 1,000+ days, those that filed since 2018/19/20, inquire from them the processes the went through. Surely, U will definitely succeed.
