I know. I just thought about that. nothing I did mattered 🤦♀️
majed alzeerAug 16, 2022
How did you get the approval? No one was accepted for treatment at the Potomac Center 413 days ago!!!!???
Sara bAug 16, 2022
@majeed I’m not sure what you mean, but I got an email saying they took an action on my case and when I checked the website I saw the approval notice.
Anett Murkl-Schmucker 🇭🇺🇺🇸Aug 16, 2022
Congratulations Sara 🎊😘😘
Sara bAug 16, 2022
@H google who your congressman is based on where you or the petitioner lives in the usa - then they usually have a selection for “help with a federal agency” where you can fill in your information. you can also do this for your senators. I followed up with phone calls several times and finally got someone to inquire about my case for me.
majed alzeerAug 16, 2022
It is impossible that you were approved because the Potomac Center is now accepting transactions 28 jun 2021
Anett Murkl-Schmucker 🇭🇺🇺🇸Aug 16, 2022
Few days ago they accepted someone from Apr 2022, before that few days, someone from Feb 2022. It is random
Sara bAug 16, 2022
@annett it is infuriatingly random. I think they process some fast just to keep the average down. it absolutely should be done in order.
Anett Murkl-Schmucker 🇭🇺🇺🇸Aug 16, 2022
I know 😔😢 I'm still waiting too. But very happy for you Sara :)
Sara bAug 16, 2022
@annett sending good wishes your way.
Anett Murkl-Schmucker 🇭🇺🇺🇸Aug 16, 2022
Thank you Sara I just filed K3 yesterday with my husband, hoping this can speed it up. :(
Any Day NowAug 16, 2022
congratulations Sara! I’m at Potomac also, Dec 16th 2021! filed k3 yesterday, praying for speed and a miracle
d dAug 16, 2022
congratulations! did you have a lawyer to file your cases, or was it just you on your own ?
Ruth BeyAug 16, 2022
@Sara woow congratulations. file since September 2021 and approved feb 2022.. it’s really frustrating and sad waiting.
Sara bAug 16, 2022
@asma I’m in Washington, it’s a liberal state and elections are coming up. might be why I got someone on the phone finally
Sara bAug 16, 2022
@ruth approved but still waiting for NVC!?
Sara bAug 16, 2022
@dd I had a lawyer but honestly I did a lot myself. the expedite and senator and congressional inquiries I did on my own.
Sara bAug 16, 2022
they just filed the paper
Ruth BeyAug 16, 2022
@Sara yea did filled and submitted everything on June 26, 2022. waiting for NVC
Sara bAug 16, 2022
@euth keep me posted how long it takes.
d dAug 16, 2022
@sara I’m thinking to call my congressman, but when I do, what do I tell them? any ideas?
Sara bAug 16, 2022
@dd if you’re outside normal processing time that’s enough. if you’re trying to expedite for one of the approved reasons, explain that.
d dAug 16, 2022
@sara well this is what happened to me. i gave my lawyer my papers October 2021, and I noticed I didn’t get a receipt number or anything, I contacted them, and they told me the papers weren’t sent from the office, later on March of 2022 is when he sent out my papers. so if he woulda sent it I would of been on 10 months by now, but now I’m held back 5 months, will that help?
Ruth BeyAug 16, 2022
sure I will @Sara all the best to all of us!
Sara bAug 16, 2022
@d d that sucks you should report this lawyer
Sara bAug 16, 2022
@rohit I hope
it helps!!!
Sara bAug 16, 2022
@d d I know you paid for a service. I have argued with a lawyer by reporting them to the local bar association. it’s their job and moral responsibility to file when they say they will. they can’t change the Uscis date but they can get you le money back from this shady lawyer.
val val 🇳🇬🇺🇸Aug 16, 2022
congrats to you!!
my PD is Sept 30. I hate the randomness of this. 😭😭

All you need
- to find an online form 7001 and send it.
Please, carefully read reasons why you can do this. My
reason was
" expedite requests approved by USCIS. y’all can use this action i will suggest you file the 7001 online
Ko koAug 17, 2022
me i feel you don’t really a lawyer for all these processes unless you have a really big issue that is gonna affect your process, i am in my second application and i did everything by myself, lawyers are gonna get extra dollars outta you
Sara bAug 17, 2022
@koffi good info and yeah I agree about the lawyer but I had no idea when all this started. I was so scared of messing something up.
Sara bAug 17, 2022
@val Val your day is coming.
Ko koAug 18, 2022
@Lina M yes it worked for me less than 12hours i file the 7001 i woke up in the morning with the approval message from USCIS
Ko koAug 18, 2022
@asma saleh any progress on your case?
Ko koAug 18, 2022
ok sorry to hear that. hang in there it’ll be soon that you think, you responded the RFE to them? do not want to try the congressman
Ko koAug 18, 2022
@Rohit Tiwari yes i think that will work, me too the person i got from i do not know where she’s from but i did and it worked and it is free no payment
d dAug 18, 2022
@asmar I heard Nebraska and California are the slowest service of all time.
val val 🇳🇬🇺🇸Aug 18, 2022
@ d d - I can confirm that the slowest center is Potomac. lol.
d dAug 18, 2022
that’s what I heard too. but my lawyer always tells me it’s mostly those 2
Zabdi 03Aug 20, 2022
hello sara how did you do the files for uscis? I know where they are sent
optimistic graceSep 22, 2022
@Asma Saleh, why was your case denied at the beginning in the first place?
optimistic graceSep 23, 2022
I hope you get approved quickly! I’m sure once a USCIS officer looks into your application they won’t do much digging, because this task is already done!! 🥺 be patient and stay positive, this is all what we have to hang on to 🤷🏻♀️
