I confirmed I worked without working permit. they don’t care. They care if you lie, then they can dig dipper. they like honestly

Our lawyer said to say yes because it is forgiven for spouses of US citizens. They know that everyone works under the table.

I work illegally but pay taxes so I guess when my turn comes I Have to sat yes
BAYANO PARKERSep 3, 2021
@alecyia exactly... no proof to verify if you worked or not. My lawyer told me to mark NO but in the question about the "overstay" I should say YES and give them the reason why I overstay... but it would be forgive because I'm an immediate relative of a US Citizen. with LPR they won't. it would be more difficult to convince them

there is a question about overstaying? I don’t even remember that one. don’t even know what a good response to that would be
maria lopez Sep 3, 2021
@leslyn if you paid taxes you have to tell the truth because the taxes are proof that you worked
leslyn WaldronSep 3, 2021
yes I did send in my w2 and 1040 when I file
maria lopez Sep 3, 2021
@neen yes it’s questions about overstaying, now that you have to be honest about because they already know the answer to that.. I told my IO I overstayed and she didn’t question why, she just said ok and went to the next question
