Working after I-485 Interview
Hi guys, My PD is not current but I did the I-485 interview on Feb/2023. I am just wondering if I should continue to work for my sponsor? Are there any chances that they will deny my visa if I quit working?

Continue working if you like the job if not... leave... your processing is technically over... there's no other step than getting your card now Absolutely nothing is gonna be asked from you again!

the question is: why did you start to work for your sponsor without a GC in hands? People make this mistake constantly, guys an EAD doesn’t change anything in your life, people get emotional to leave the school and start to work and they don’t see there is no benefit to start to work before the GC, just analyze, first you don’t have to, it is optional before your GC, even you don’t have to keep studying too because you have to have status until the date you get your I-485 receipt in hands, the school would be a better option to stay than to start to work for the sponson, there is no advantage for you, only disadvantage, I have seen a lot people crying now because they don’t like their sponson but they left the school and they are afraid to leave the sponson, my advice is: if you made the mistake to start to work before your GC in hands “because you got emotional, because you thought your life changed with an EAD” now stay in your sponson until you have your GC in hands otherwise you take the risk to have a problem, I know you can change after 180 days if your I-485 was submitted but I wouldn’t take the risk. That’s why my advice is always wait for your GC, don’t get emotional with a work permit and run towards to the sponson as a coward, wait please.
