work permit approved 7 months later . 🎉
I really don’t know how to explain how elated I am ! I’m currently also in the status “ ready to be scheduled for interview “ with my 1-485 and My FO is Tampa FL . Never expedited anything. just let uscis process me and exercised PATIENCE! ( I Got a God fearing Jamaican mom too so yeah ! lots of praying and some fasting) . I’m here to say I know you’re reading posts , I know youre checking statuses I was too ! feeling like when will it be my time ? for the last 5 days I laid off I said you know what I need a break for my mental health and well today I got this notification. anyways I’m not all the way done yet , but I am hopeful.

My wife PD is March 8 2021, I got hope for her to receive her EAD. Her FO is also in Tampa. Any news since her case is ready to be scheduled for interview.

Congratulations. The website status didn’t change for you but you got an intimation thru mail you mean ? my status on website is case scheduled for interview since 31 Aug. my biometrics was done on 10 Aug.

no it wasn’t it varies on where you are in the process and the steps you have to go through.

my status on website is Case is ready to be scheduled for interview since 31 Aug. for my I-1485
on 02 March Case was received for I-131, &i-765.
I was wondering whether they will change the status on the website or will send me the letter of next step.

yes they will do both, but not everytime you move to a next step you get a mail notification, ofc if it requires you to send something or you’re going to an appointment etc.
