work permit and advanced parole
amen to everyone who is still waiting! don’t give up. when you don’t think about it, your case will move forward. I have not had an lawyer help me with my documents, I had to give REF (which I still think that that was only to give them more time) but I send them within a week everything they asked (even though I knew they already had these things) & for months I have not heard anything. nothing moved. thankfully, I got busy with college again and I have to study for my midterms. BUT it finally came in the mail today. to everyone else - don’t give up, there are reasons why some have to wait longer and why some have some priority. We can’t change it. annoying ourselves will just give us grey hair from stress. and wrinkles ! now let’s get the interview for the green card done soon & all is good! amen

@lady D I was an international student as well . after sending my application to USCIS and receiving the receipt number form , I was able to remove my F-1 condition from the school system and they told me that I would be able to pay instate tuition ( pay like American) after being married for a year .

what was the rfe about?
Dee GVanEMar 14, 2022
well my school told me I can’t do that until I receive the green card. so I am still paying International student tuition …. whatever I have already done 4 years. the rfe was about I apparently didn’t have both parents on my birth certificate which was NOT true. and apparently not enough support from my husbands side. which was not true either. so we just submitted everything again
